AUSTIN, Texas, (April 6, 2022) — This month, the Propane Council of Texas (ProCOT), a nonprofit propane marketing and educational foundation, launched its Texas Saves with Propane Appliance Rebate Program for 2022. This rebate program will assist Texas homeowners and business owners save on select new propane appliances.

TORONTO — Superior Plus Corp. announced the successful closing of its previously announced bought deal equity offering of 25,670,300 common shares at a price of $11.20 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $288 million. The offering included 3,348,300 shares issued pursuant to the exercise in full by the underwriters of their over-allotment option.

LAWRENCE, Mass. (April 5, 2022) – Energy North Group (ENG) announced that its tradition of fundraising on behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association has continued for the 18^th consecutive year.

The monies raised throughout the campaign are used to fund research and care initiatives for those living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases, as well as to fund children’s time at MDA Summer Camp. HOUSTON (March 24, 2022) — KBR and ExxonMobil Catalysts and Licensing LLC will collaborate to bring significant advancements to propane dehydrogenation (PDH) technology.

Under the collaboration, ExxonMobil's new proprietary catalyst technology will be combined with KBR's proprietary K-PRO Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) technology to convert propane into propylene. Enabled by the superior performance of ExxonMobil's new catalyst, the combined technology solution could offer financial savings compared to PDH technologies currently available.

NEW YORK (March 31, 2022) — Meritus Gas Partners announced that it has entered into a partnership with Specialty Products and Leasing Inc. (SPL), a wholesale producer and packager of hydrocarbon gases located in Taft, California. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

TORONTO (March 28, 2022) — Superior Plus Corp. announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire the retail propane distribution and refined fuels assets of Quarles Petroleum Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of approximately US$145 million (CA$180 million) before adjustments for working capital.

The acquisition, which is subject to customary regulatory and commercial closing conditions, is anticipated to close in the second quarter of 2022.

TORONTO — Superior Plus Corp. announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the equity interests of Kamps Propane Inc., High Country Propane Inc., Pick Up Propane Inc., Competitive Capital Inc. and Propane Construction and Meter Services (collectively, Kamps Propane) and Kiva Energy Inc. (Kiva Energy) for a purchase price of approximately US$240 million (CDN $302 million). The purchase price was paid with funds drawn from Superior’s existing credit facility.

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu continued to mostly increase as we get further from winter. The posted prices decreased by 1 cent/gal, from February mid-month to March mid-month while the spot prices increased 4.5 cents. Conway, Kan., postings ended with a 0.25-cent increase and spots increased 5.5 cents over the month.
