Suburban Propane Partners L.P. announced that Doug Dagan, vice president of strategic initiatives – renewable energy, has been named to The Bioeconomy 500 for 2023, which highlights outstanding leaders of the bioeconomy’s development and deployment. Dagan is also the only person from an American propane company who made the list.

Cetane Associates (Cetane)announced that Sail Energy LLC, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has acquired the assets related to the full-service propane and heating oil delivery and HVAC business of Tower Energy LLC<

Canada's primary underground propane inventories decreased by 30.22% in February, according to the Canada Energy Regulator. The total, 1064.2 Mcm, represented a month-to-month decrease of 460.8 Mcm. Compared to a year earlier, stocks were higher, with 6.2 Mcm, or 0.59%, more product on hand. 

(Feb. 17, 2023) — P3 Propane Safety announced that Kristen Williams has joined the P3 Propane Safety team as a senior sales consultant.

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, decreased as we hit the mid-winter. The posted prices decreased 6.417 cents/gal, from January mid-month to February mid-month while the spot prices decreased 6.875 cents. Conway, Kan., postings ended with a 10.5-cent decrease and spots decreased 10.25 cents over the month.

It is also the most widely used alternative fuel for transportation globally.

Lee, Mass. (Feb. 8, 2023) — Ray Murray Inc. (RMI) has announced the addition of Eben Waugh to its technical support team.

The United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects natural gas prices at the Henry Hub to average around $3.40 per million British thermal units in 2023, 47% lower than in 2022. According to EIA’s February "Short-Term Energy Outlook" (STEO), a warmer-than-normal start to the year has reduced natural gas consumption to below average.

Beverly, Mass — KROHNE, manufacturer and supplier of solutions in industrial process instrumentation, announces that PRO-QUIP Inc., with its headquarters in Kenilworth, New Jersey, is KROHNE’s regional manufacturer’s representative covering the process industries in the greater New York City region, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington D.C. as of Dec. 1, 2022.

PRO-QUIP is replacing Stover Sensor Controls and Jobe & Company as KROHNE’s representative in the area.

Industry leaders from across the region gathered in January for a Midwest Propane Summit, held at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri. The event brought together more than 30 representatives from state associations, propane marketers and industry suppliers. WASHINGTON (January 2023) — The Propane Education & Research Council announces its 2023 Propane Farm Incentive Program, which provides financial incentives of up to $5,000 toward the purchase of qualifying propane equipment — including irrigation engines, power generators, agricultural building and water heating systems and flame weed control systems.

Marietta, Penn. (Jan. 19, 2023) — Hiltz Propane Systems Inc. has announced the appointment of Aaron Becker to the position of president, effective Oct. 17, 2022. Matthew Hiltz, who has been acting as president and CEO, will continue as CEO.

P3 Propane Safety announced that John Horner has joined the Safety Services Team as a senior consultant of training and safety.
