SACRAMENTO (Feb. 28, 2024) — The Western Propane Gas Association (WPGA) released an economic impact report that found that the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) regulation to eliminate internal combustion engine (ICE) forklifts will cost California forklift owners and operators up to $27 billion.

Morris, Minn. — Westmor Industries LLC recently hired Ryan Watzke as territory manager in their Northwest Sales Region. In his new role, Watzke will serve the propane and petroleum industries, providing bobtail, refined fuel truck, and crane service truck expertise to customers.

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, increased. The posted prices increased 6.167 cents/gal, from January mid-month to February mid-month, and the spot prices increased 5 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 5.828 cents/gal, and spots increased 6.5 cents over the month.

WASHINGTON (Feb. 20, 2024) — Residential builders can apply now for the 2024 Propane Construction Research Program. Feb. 12th, 2024 — Harrisonburg, Va. — A new state contract brought forth by James Madison University provides vehicle fleets in Virginia with new pricing on propane autogas vehicle conversion equipment, in addition to access to renewable propane autogas. Blossman Gas is the equipment and fueling partner on the contract, available to all fleets.

San Ramon, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2024) — After 33 years of service, Mark Ross, president of Chevron Shipping Company, has elected to retire effective May 1, 2024. Barbara Pickering, currently vice president of operations for Chevron Shipping Company, will succeed Ross as president.
