Hamilton, OH — Dec. 3 — The roots of BASE Engineering Inc., stretch over three decades. Since the founding of its current iteration in 1996, BASE Engineering — based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada — has built a reputation as a global leader in the development of wireless-control systems that improve the safety, reliability, productivity and cost-effectiveness of today’s fuel-delivery fleets in the oil and gas, refined fuels and industrial markets.
For nearly 30 years, BASE Engineering systems have been deployed around the globe and can be found in military, petrochemical, aviation and construction service. The company specializes in systems for use in extreme environments and hazardous locations and supplies equipment to many truck OEMs and major fleets.
This summer, BASE Engineering experienced a notable milestone in its history when its parent company, Marshall Excelsior Company — based in Marshall, Michigan — which had acquired BASE Engineering in 2017, was itself acquired by OPW, a Dover company. As a result of that acquisition, BASE Engineering has been made an operating company within the OPW Fluid Transfer Solutions business unit.
To mark the occasion, BASE Engineering has created and unveiled a new company logo that highlights its integration into the OPW team. This new logo communicates how BASE Engineering fits into its new corporate home.
