BPN Industry Innovators was designed to showcase the propane individuals who are working every day to grow and improve the industry. The 10 finalists selected for this year's class are:

Rye Brook, NY (Dec. 22, 2022) — Rye Brook, New York-based propane company Paraco Gas has acquired Chickos Energy Services, headquartered in Milford, Connecticut. The acquisition expands Paraco’s new HVAC division into Connecticut.

(Nov. 2, 2022) – Rye Brook, New York-based Paraco Gas has entered into a strategic partnership with New York-based Thuesen Mechanical to deliver heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services to customers in Westchester, New York and Fairfield, Connecticut. 

Rye Brook, NY (April 14, 2022) – Paraco Gas has appointed Donna Howay to director, supply chain management.

Howay, a seasoned industry leader with 18 years with Paraco, will expand her scope of procurement responsibilities to include product supply. Donna has previously held roles in showroom sales, inside sales, customer service, service, regional manager, special projects, and purchasing manager.

Rye Brook, NY (March 24, 2022) – Paraco Gas has hired Dan Scicutella as general manager to lead its team in Long Island. Scicutella comes to Paraco with extensive management experience from FedEx Express that includes multiple awards recognition for quality and service.

Rye Brook, N.Y. (Feb. 7, 2022) – Paraco Gas has appointed long-time employee Andrew Mirchin to director of market development, expanding his sales responsibilities to mergers and acquisitions.

RYE BROOK, NY. (Jan. 6, 2022) – Paraco Gas has appointed Christina Armentano chief operating officer (COO) of the company. Christina previously served as executive vice president of sales, marketing and mergers and acquisitions. 

RYE BROOK, NY (November 5, 2021) — Paraco Gas announced that Sheila Rivera has joined Paraco Gas as director of human resources with deep experience in the transportation industry and a track record of establishing high-performing teams and culture as a human resources executive.

Gilbert, PA (Oct. 1, 2021) — Paraco Gas announced that Gilbert, Pennsylvania-based Warner’s Propane & Oil has joined the Paraco family through an acquisition. Warner’s is a family-owned propane company that was founded in 1994 by Gary Warner and has remained managed by the Warner family.

This is Paraco’s 53rd acquisition, adding a strong customer base in a growing market in Monroe County, and marks Paraco’s fourth distribution location in Pennsylvania.
