Canton, Mass. — Feb. 26 — Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP, a business consulting and accounting firm based in Canton, Massachusetts, has announced that Rob Levene, former President & CEO of Levco Energy (Trumbull, Connecticut) has joined the firm’s Energy Practice Group as a consultant, serving as director of operational consulting.

Toledo, Ohio — Feb. 19 — Bergquist, a wholesale propane equipment distributor, has announced the promotion of three key team members, marking a significant step in driving growth and innovation across the organization. 

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, decreased. The posted prices decreased 3.333 cents/gal, from January mid-month to February mid-month, and the spot prices decreased 3.25 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings decreased 5.074 cents/gal, and spots decreased 5.125 cents over the month.

GRAHAM, N.C. — The Southeast Propane Alliance Technical Education Center (SEPATEC) has announced the expansion of its entry-level driver training (ELDT) program for 2025, aimed at preparing individuals for a commercial driver’s license (CDL-B).

Washington, D.C. (Jan. 20, 2025) — Following his inauguration as the 47th president of the United States on Jan. 20, President Donald Trump signed a series of executive orders, including one titled "Unleashing American Energy."

The executive order's intent is to "unleash America's affordable and reliable energy and natural resources."

Duncansville, PA — Westmor Industries LLC recently hired Ryan Decker as a territory manager in the company's Western Pennsylvania sales region. In his new role, Decker will serve the propane and petroleum industries, providing bobtail, refined fuel truck and crane service truck expertise to customers. 

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, increased. The posted prices increased 19.167 cents/gal, from December mid-month to January mid-month, and the spot prices increased 19.75 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 27.88 cents/gal, and spots increased 23.875 cents over the month. 

The Missouri Propane Education and Research Council (MOPERC) has announced the election of its 2025 directors and officers. The Council consists of 15 volunteer members who guide the efforts of the Council to promote the safe use of propane through education, training and research. All directors elected are professionals in the propane industry and will serve three-year terms. Officers serve for one year. MOPERC programs are administered by executive staff. 

The installations occurred at the Council’s recent winter board meeting in Ridgedale, Missouri.
