Feb. 11, 2025 — Signature Truck Systems, a provider of propane trucks and services, has announced the appointment of Eric Salinas as the company’s new general manager, effective immediately. This leadership transition follows the retirement of Mike VanDenBoom, who will work closely with Salinas to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities.
Salinas has a 36-year career in the propane industry, including 19 years in the retail sector and 17 years in management at Signature Truck Systems' Houghton Lake facility. Throughout his career, Salinas has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation, making him a highly respected leader in the industry.
“It is an honor to take on the role of general manager at Signature Truck Systems,” said Salinas. “I look forward to building upon the strong foundation that Mike VanDenBoom and our talented team have established. Together, we will continue to prioritize delivering top-quality products and exceptional service to our customers while driving the company’s growth and success.”

Mike VanDenBoom, the outgoing president, expressed his confidence in Salinas’ ability to lead the company into its next chapter.
“Eric’s extensive experience and proven leadership make him the perfect choice to take Signature Truck Systems forward. I am confident the company will continue to thrive under his guidance,” said VanDenBoom.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mike VanDenBoom for his many years of dedication and exceptional contributions to Signature Truck Systems. Mike has played a significant role in the company’s success, leaving a legacy of excellence that will inspire us for years to come. We wish Mike all the best,” said Mitch Debelser, president of TerraVest Compressed Gas Equipment Division.
