Feb. 12th, 2024 — Harrisonburg, Va. — A new state contract brought forth by James Madison University provides vehicle fleets in Virginia with new pricing on propane autogas vehicle conversion equipment, in addition to access to renewable propane autogas. Blossman Gas is the equipment and fueling partner on the contract, available to all fleets.

Ocean Springs, Miss. (Feb. 3, 2022) — Blossman Gas Inc. acquired three propane companies in 2021: Coastal Gas Services in Outer Banks, North Carolina, Dolphin Gas in Miami, Florida, and Ford’s Propane in North Myrtle Beach and Loris, South Carolina, and Bolivia, North Carolina.
Coastal Gas Services was founded in 1994; Dolphin Gas opened in 1958; and Ford’s Propane has been doing business since 1923. Blossman Gas will retain employees from each of the acquisitions.

(April 20, 2021) — Seventy years ago, Blossman Gas, a full-service company that provides everything from propane delivery to appliance sales, installation, and service, was founded by Woodrow “Woody” Blossman in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Within the first 20 years of Blossman going into business, the company went from one store in Ocean Springs to fourteen stores spanning three different states in the southeast.
