Ocean Springs, Miss. (Feb. 3, 2022) — Blossman Gas Inc. acquired three propane companies in 2021: Coastal Gas Services in Outer Banks, North Carolina, Dolphin Gas in Miami, Florida, and Ford’s Propane in North Myrtle Beach and Loris, South Carolina, and Bolivia, North Carolina.
Coastal Gas Services was founded in 1994; Dolphin Gas opened in 1958; and Ford’s Propane has been doing business since 1923. Blossman Gas will retain employees from each of the acquisitions.
“Blossman Gas is very excited to continue our expansion in the Coastal Carolina communities,” said David Reynolds, chief operations officer for Blossman Gas. “Between adding Coastal Gas Services, Ford’s Propane, and Dolphin Gas, we have added over 19,000 customers. These three companies fit well into Blossman’s business model of being a full service solution for our customers.”
All three businesses were previously family-owned, making for a seamless integration into Blossman Gas, a third-generation, family-owned company itself.
“We are excited for the opportunity these acquisitions bring to Blossman,” said James Harris, regional vice president for Blossman Gas. “This aligns with our strategy of expanding into the Coastal Carolina region and building our operation in South Florida. All of these acquisitions were exemplary companies, and we appreciate that they selected Blossman Gas to transition their business.”
Customers of all three companies will continue to receive uninterrupted service.
