(July 7, 2022) — Medford Cooperative announced the purchase of the Clark C-Store located in Stetsonville, Wisconsin, and the Stetsonville Oil Bulk Fuel Operations located in Medford, Wisconsin. The tire and auto business is not a part of the sale and will continue operations at a new location within Stetsonville. The transition of ownership is expected to take place in July.

KENT, Conn. (July 7, 2022) — Cetane Associates LLC announced that TexNJ Energy LLC (DBA Weaver Fuels) of Allentown, Pennsylvania, has acquired the business operations of Apgar Oil Co. Inc., a full-service heating fuels delivery business, and Apgar’s discount brand, Thrifty Fuel, also located in Allentown. The transaction closed on June 30.

The United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts that a variety of U.S. energy prices will remain historically high through 2023, including oil, natural gas, coal and electricity, according to EIA’s June 2022 "Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO)".

During the latest mid-month period, posted prices at Mont Belvieu continued to decrease in the summer, while spots rose. The posted prices decreased 2.667 cents/gal, from May mid-month to June mid-month while the spot prices increased 3.625 cents. Conway, Kan., postings ended with a 2.95-cent decrease and spots increased 2 cents over the month.

WASHINGTON (June 20, 2022) — The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is hosting a new webinar focused on Forklift Safety as part of its Propane Presents Technology Series beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, June 23.

Canada's primary underground propane inventories increased by 60.33% in June, according to the Canada Energy Regulator. The total represented a month-to-month increase of 336.4 Mcm. Compared to a year earlier, stocks were lower, with 225.5 Mcm, or 20.14%, less product on hand.
