Baker Hughes Rig Count Down 3

The Baker Hughes United States rig count is down three from last week to 748, with oil rigs down two to 588, gas rigs down one to 157 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at three.

• The U.S. rig count is up 55 rigs from last year's count of 693, with oil rigs up 40, gas rigs up 14 and miscellaneous up one.
• The U.S. offshore rig count is up three to 20 and up eight year over year.

The Canada rig count is down 16 from last week to 111, with oil rigs down seven to 45 and gas rigs down nine to 66.

• The Canada rig count is up eight rigs from last year's count of 103, with oil down four and gas rigs up 12.
