Otodata, a tank monitor and accessories company based in Quebec, Canada, recently announced the retirement of its Southern USA Advisor David Dodd. 

Canada's primary underground propane inventories decreased by 2.1% in April, according to the Canada Energy Regulator. The total represented a month-to-month decrease of 8.4 Mcm. Compared to a year earlier, stocks were lower, with 319.8 Mcm, or 44.5%, less product on hand.

Propane storages in the West started April a bit higher at 291.6 Mcm, which corresponds to 1.837 MMbbl, the agency reported. From March to April, volumes increased by 10 Mcm, or 3.6%, and were 255.7 less the year prior's level of 547.3 Mcm.

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, decreased. The posted prices decreased 10.25 cents/gal, from March mid-month to April mid-month, and the spot prices decreased 5 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings decreased 17.124 cents/gal, and spots decreased 14 cents over the month.
