During the latest mid-month period, posted prices at Mont Belvieu continued to decrease in the summer, while spots rose. The posted prices decreased 2.667 cents/gal, from May mid-month to June mid-month while the spot prices increased 3.625 cents. Conway, Kan., postings ended with a 2.95-cent decrease and spots increased 2 cents over the month.

Mont Belvieu Postings

The Mont Belvieu mid-May posted price was 132.006 cents/gal. The next week the price decreased by 2.417 cents to 129.589 cents, followed by a 4.5-cent increase to 134.089 cents the first week of June. Prices then increased 2.083 cents to land at 136.172 the following week. At mid-month, postings decreased 6.833 cents to land at 129.339 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in June 2021, the June 2022 prices were 22.833 cents higher.

Conway Postings

The Conway, Kan. mid-May posted price was 125.248 cents/gal. The next week the price decreased by 1.35 cents to 123.898 cents, followed by a 3.6-cent increase to 127.498 cents the first week of June. Prices then increased another 1.95 cents to land at 129.448 the following week. At mid-month, postings fell 7.15 cents to land at 122.298 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in June 2021, the June 2022 prices were 22.201 cents higher.

 

 

Mont Belvieu Spots

Mont Belvieu spot propane opened the mid-May period at 116.250 cents/gal. The next week the price increased by 7 cents to 123.250 cents, followed by a 4-cent decrease to 119.250 cents the first week of June. Prices then increased 4.75 cents to land at 124.000 the following week. At mid-month, they fell 4.125 cents to land at 119.875 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in June 2021, the June 2022 prices were 24.625 cents higher.

Conway Spots

Conway spots opened the mid-May period at 115.500 cents/gal. The next week the price increased by 5.75 cents to 121.250 cents, followed by a 1.25-cent decrease to 120.000 cents the first week of June. Prices then increased 1.25 cents to land at 121.250 the following week. At mid-month, they fell 3.75 cents to land at 117.500 cents/gal.
