Canada's primary underground propane inventories increased by 27% in August, according to the Canada Energy Regulator. The total represented a month-to-month increase of 335 Mcm. Compared to a year earlier, stocks were higher, with 191.8 Mcm, or 13.9%, more product on hand.
Propane storages in the West started August a bit higher at 1133.1 Mcm, which corresponds to 7.138 MMbbl, the agency reported. From July to August, volumes increased by 164.8 Mcm, or 17%, and were 256.7 Mcm more the year prior's level of 876.4 Mcm.
