The posted prices increased 9.5 cents/gal, from September mid-month to October mid-month, and the spot prices increased 12.13 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 4 cents/gal, and spots increased 4.25 cents over the month.
Mont Belvieu Postings
The Mont Belvieu mid-September posted price was 74.23. The next week the price increased 1.667 cents to 75.897 cents/gal, followed by a 3.167-cent decrease to 72.73 cents the next week. Prices increased 12.334 cents to 85.064 cents the first week of October, followed by a 3.333-cent increase to 88.397 cents the next week. At mid-month, postings decreased 4.667 cents to 83.73 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in October 2023, the October 2024 prices were 2.516 cents higher.
Conway Postings
The Conway mid-September posted price was 72.126 cents/gal. The next week the price decreased 0.1 cents to 72.026 cents/gal, followed by a 0.85-cent decrease to 71.176 cents the following week. The price increased 6.9 cents to 78.076 cents the first week of October. Prices then increased 1.85 cents to 79.926 cents the next week. At mid-month, postings decreased 3.8 cents to 76.126 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in October 2023, the October 2024 prices were 0.608 cents higher.
Mont Belvieu Spots
Mont Belvieu spots opened mid-September at 63.12. The next week the price rose 3.63 cents to 66.75 cents/gal, followed by a 9.75-cent decrease to 57 cents the next week. Prices rose 24.75 cents to 81.75 cents/gal the first week of October. Prices then decreased 2.75 cents to 79 cents the next week. At mid-month, they fell 3.75 cents to 75.25 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in October 2023, the October 2024 prices were 6.25 cents higher.
Conway Spots
Conway spots opened mid-October at 66 cents/gal. The next week the price rose by 0.75 cents to 66.75 cents/gal., followed by a 4.25-cent decrease to 62.5 cents the following week. Prices rose by 14.5 cents to 77 cents for the first week of October. Prices then decreased 4.5 cents to 72.5 cents the next week. At mid-month, they fell 2.25 cents to 70.25 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in October 2023, the October 2024 prices were 2.625 cents higher.
