The World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA) recently released their "Annual Report" for 2025

The report highlights key global LPG trends and initiatives led by WLGA, including sustainable growth, innovation and safety for LPG use. 

"2025 is the third and last year of our 2023-2025 Strategic Plan which we launched in January 2023, under the theme of ‘Solutions for Sustainable Energy Transitions’," said James Rockall, CEO and managing director at WLGA. "Please take a moment to read through this year’s Annual Report which will give you an overview of the public work we do, and also the work we undertake on behalf of our 300 members around the world."

Key highlights include:

  • South and Central America account for 18.6% of all commercial demand
  • Global demand at 366 million tonnes
  • Global production at 370 million tonnes
  • Asia-Pacific region accounts for 58.4% of global domestic demand

WLGA has held a consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 1989.
