During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu continued to decrease in the summer. The posted prices decreased 4.5 cents/gal, from June mid-month to July mid-month while the spot prices decreased 9.875 cents. Conway, Kan., postings ended with a 4.35-cent decrease and spots decreased 9 cents over the month.

Mont Belvieu Postings

The Mont Belvieu mid-June posted price was 129.339 cents/gal. The next week the price increased by 1 cent to 130.339 cents, followed by a 3.167-cent increase to 133.506 cents the following week. Prices then decreased 7 cents to land at 126.506 the first week of July. At mid-month, postings decreased another 1.667 cents to land at 124.839 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2021, the July 2022 prices were 3.083 cents higher.

Conway Postings

The Conway, Kan. mid-June posted price was 122.298 cents/gal. The next week the price increased by 0.5 cents to 122.798 cents, followed by a 0.05-cent increase to 122.848 cents the following week. Prices then decreased 7.55 cents to land at 115.298 the first week of July. At mid-month, postings increased another 2.65 cents to land at 117.948 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2021, the July 2022 prices were 4.851 cents higher.

 

Mont Belvieu Spots

Mont Belvieu spot propane opened the mid-June period at 119.875 cents/gal. The next week the price increased by 0.375 cents to 120.250 cents, followed by a 0.5-cent decrease to 119.750 cents the following week. Prices then decreased 3.75 cents to land at 116 the first week of July. At mid-month, they fell another 6 cents to land at 110 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2021, the July 2022 prices were 0.5 cents higher.

Conway Spots

 

Conway spots opened the mid-June period at 117.500 cents/gal. The next week the price dropped by 1.5 cents to 116.000 cents, followed by a 3.5-cent decrease to 112.500 cents the following week. Prices then decreased 2.25 cents to land at 110.250 the first week of July. At mid-month, they fell another 1.75 cents to land at 108.500 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2021, the July 2022 prices were 0.5 cents higher.
