During the latest mid-month period, posted prices at Mont Belvieu decreased. The posted prices dropped 39.583 cents/gal., from November mid-month price to December mid-month, and the spot prices fell 26.75 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings ended with a 35.326-cent decrease and spots fell 25.875 cents over the month.

MB Postings
The Mont Belvieu mid-November posted price was 156.172 cents/gal. The next week, the price fell by 23.916 cents to 132.256 cents, followed by a 16.917-cent decrease to 115.339 cents in the first week of December. Prices fell another 2.5 cents to land at 112.839 in the second week of December. At mid-month, postings increased 3.75 cents to land at 116.589 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in December 2020, the December 2021 prices were 42.666 cents higher.
Conway Postings
The Conway, Kansas, mid-November posted price was 146.574 cents/gal. The next week, the price fell 21.376 cents to 125.198 cents, followed by a 16.65-cent decrease to 108.548 cents in the first week of December. Prices fell another 1.75 cents to land at 106.798 in the second week of December. At mid-month, postings rose 4.45 cents to land at 111.248 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in December 2020, the December 2021 prices were 45.201 cents higher.
MB Spots
Mont Belvieu spot propane opened the mid-November period at 132.000-132.500 cents/gal. The next week, prices decreased 20.5 cents to 111.500-113.250 cents. The prices decreased by 17 cents to 94.500-96.000 cents in the first week of December. The second week of December saw a 6-cent rise that pulled spots up to 100.500-101.000 cents. Mid-month saw an additional increase, gaining 4.75 cents to 105.250-105.875 cents. Compared to the same time in December 2020, the December 2021 prices were 45.25 cents above a year ago.
Conway Spots
Conway spots opened mid-November at 132.375-134.000 cents. The following week saw a 22.875-cent decrease to 109.500-114.500 cents, and then a 15-cent drop to 94.500-96.000 cents in the first week of December. Prices then moved higher, rising 7 cents to 101.500-102.500 cents in the second week of December. At mid-month period, they rose 5 cents to 106.500-107.000 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in December 2020, the December 2021 prices were 44 cents higher than a year ago.
