During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, increased. The posted prices increased 1.25 cents/gal, from March mid-month to April mid-month, and the spot prices increased 1.75 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 5.5 cents/gal, and spots increased 3.25 cents over the month.
Mont Belvieu Postings
The Mont Belvieu mid-March posted price was 88.814 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 4.916 cents to 93.730 cents, followed by a 0.75-cent increase to 94.480 cents the next week. Prices then decreased 1.333 cents to 93.147 cents the first week of April. At mid-month, postings decreased 3.083 cents to 90.064 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in April 2023, the April 2024 prices were 4.108 cents lower.
Conway Postings
The Conway mid-March posted price was 77.036 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 5.45 cents to 82.486 cents, followed by a 1.05-cent increase to 83.536 cents the next week. Prices then increased 1.25 cents to 84.786 cents the first week of April. At mid-month, postings decreased 2.25 cents to 82.536 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in April 2023, the April 2024 prices were 5.486 cents lower.
Mont Belvieu Spots
Mont Belvieu spots opened mid-March at 77 cents/gal. The next week the price rose by 3.875 cents to 80.875 cents, followed by a 0.75-cent increase to 81.625 cents the next week. Prices then increased 2.75 cents to 84.375 cents the first week of April. At mid-month, they fell 5.625 cents to 78.75 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in April 2023, the April 2024 prices were 5.25 cents lower.
Conway Spots
Conway spots opened mid-March at 72 cents/gal. The next week the price rose by 4.5 cents to 76.5 cents, followed by a 1.5-cent increase to 78 cents the next week. Prices then increased 2.375 cents to 80.375 cents the first week of April. At mid-month, they fell 5.125 cents to 75.25 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in April 2023, the April 2024 prices were 7 cents lower.
