Chicago, Illinois-based EDP announced that Chris DeFilippo has joined the company as vice president of Corporate Development.
DeFilippo has deep roots in the propane industry. He joined AmeriGas and spent more than seven years there as an acquisitions manager and marketing director, engaging in mergers and acquisitions and internal marketing efforts. He later joined Superior Propane where he spent eight years serving as vice president of Corporate Development.
DeFilippo has closed on more than 35 successful transactions. In addition to his corporate roles with AmeriGas and Superior Propane, DeFilippo has also been an active member in our industry.
He serves on the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) and served as chairman from 2023-2025.
DeFilippo graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and received his MBA from Duke University.
