Engineered Controls International LLC (ECI; Elon, N.C.) said Feb. 1 it had acquired Superior Holdings LLC, owner of Macro Technologies LLC and Superior Products LLC. ECI noted that the acquisition adds to its expanding portfolio of companies representing brands of gas flow and control products. Those brands now include RegO Products, Goddard Valve, Superior Products, and Macro Technologies.
Macro Technologies of Kirkland, Wash. offers a range of cryogenic and specialty gas products and systems. Superior Products offers compressed gas products and systems and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. ECI is the manufacturer of RegO Products for the LP-gas and NH3 industries, and is the manufacturer of RegO Products and Goddard valves for the cryogenic and industrial gas markets. ECI operates four manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and distribution centers in Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
“Our customers will benefit, as we will offer additional engineering, manufacturing, and sales support for all of our products,” said Thomas J. Farrell, president and CEO of ECI. “A more expansive product line will allow us to serve additional adjacent markets and give us the opportunity to introduce existing technology and products into new and existing markets.”
He added that over the next few months, ECI would be in the process of integrating Macro Technologies and Superior Products into the ECI group. “Our primary goal is to continue providing the highest level of support throughout this time and maintain our high levels of quality and customer service.”
