Dead River Company has acquired Roby's Propane Gas.Cetane Associates (“Cetane”) has announced that Dead River Company has acquired Roby’s Propane Gas, a propane and distillates delivery business headquartered in West Wareham, Massachusetts. The transaction was completed on November 14, 2023.

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, decreased as we head into winter. The posted prices decreased 6.834 cents/gal, from October mid-month to November mid-month, and the spot prices decreased 7.25 cents. Conway, Kan., postings decreased 8.833 cents/gal, and spots decreased 7.625 cents over the month.

Dallas (Nov. 3, 2023) — Energy Transfer LP announced the completion of its previously announced merger with Crestwood Equity Partners LP. The merger was approved by Crestwood unitholders at its special meeting of unitholders held on Oct. 30, 2023. Effective with the opening of the market on Nov. 3, 2023, Crestwood’s common units and preferred units ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

Houston (Nov. 8, 2023) — Stuart Steel Protection (SSP) has agreed to acquire the assets of Colorado-based energy manufacturing supplier Northwestern Cathodic (NWCAT) in a move that will double the company's workforce and geographic scope.

NWCAT specializes in providing cathodic protection materials and services for utilities, propane, onshore oilfield production equipment, vessels and tanks with locations in Grand Junction, Colorado, and Greenville, South Carolina.

As Prime Minister Justin Trudeau looks to roll out support for energy costs to rural Canada, the government relief currently does not include support for Canadians who rely on propane for heating. The Canadian Propane Association (CPA) has called on the prime minister to also provide relief for propane users.
