A recent “SalesLink” email has been sent that addressed the coming changes to the Propane Research & Education Council’s 2017 Propane Farm Incentive Program. The email announced the new PERC incentives and application process.
The following outlines the new Propane Farm Incentive Program (PFIP) application process. Applicants work with participating dealers to select qualifying equipment, then the dealer provides the applicant a registration packet. The registration packet is designed to make the application steps easy to follow:
1. Complete the online pre-season survey.
2. Fill out the Contact Form, PFIP Contract, and W-9.
3. Provide proof of purchase, including serial numbers, for all qualifying equipment.
The applicant or dealer will then mail, email, or fax the application to PERC, and once all documentation is received, PERC will send the incentive payment to the applicant. At the end of growing season, the applicant will be sent a link to an online, post-season survey. This survey must be completed to remain eligible for future incentives.
PERC efforts focus on making the incentive process easier for agricultural producers to navigate. So now, producers have one stop — their propane equipment dealer — for their incentive packet, which should speed up incentive payments, too.
Equipment distributors nationwide are already receiving their incentive application packets.
