BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Aug. 1, 2025) — Butane-Propane News has announced the seven finalists for its 2025 class of BPN Industry Innovators.
The BPN Industry Innovators contest was designed to showcase the propane individuals who are working every day to grow and improve the industry. The seven finalists selected for this year's class are:
- Amanda Bohm, manager at Sunrise Propane
- Mike Dodd, CEO at Propane Ninja
- TJ Johnson, president and CEO at Eco Power Equipment
- Marty Kirshner, partner at Gray, Gray & Gray
- Julie Kraus, CEO at Western States Propane
- Reese Moore, CEO at Mopeka Products
- Derek Poe, executive director at Missouri Propane Safety Commission

What does an Industry Innovator look like? This nominee:
- Currently works in or is allied to the propane industry
- Brings a spirit of innovation to developing ideas that solve current challenges or anticipate future needs in their company or the industry as a whole
- Actively pursues learning or personal career growth opportunities to contribute to company and industry goals
- Focuses on making the industry a better place to work for the current and future workforce
