American Welding & Gas Acquires First Call Propane

Fountain Hills, AZ (August 4, 2025) — Legacy Energy Consulting, a merger and acquisitions consulting firm, has announced the successful sale of First Call Propane to American Welding & Gas (AWG). 

Dale & Kelari, owners of First Call Propane, commented, “When we made the choice to retire, we had three goals: to pass our business on to a company with the same values we worked so many years to exemplify, to find a company that would promote and value our employees, and to find a company that would give our customers the same great pricing and customer service they expect.”

It was a privilege to collaborate with them throughout the sale of their company.

Legacy Energy Consulting managed the acquisition. The transaction marked the second acquisition deal for the company in 2025.
