U.S. Rig Count Adds 6

The Baker Hughes United States rig count is up six from last week at 417 with oil rigs up six to 324, gas rigs unchanged at 92, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at one.

• U.S. rig count is down 311 rigs from last year's count of 728, with oil rigs down 300, gas rigs down 10 and miscellaneous rigs down one.
• The U.S. offshore rig count is down one to 12, down 6 year over year.
• The Canada rig count is down 11 from last week to 81, with oil rigs down 10 to 31, gas rigs down one to 50.
• Canada rig count is up 27 rigs from last year's count of 54, with oil rigs up 13, gas rigs up 14.
