TAMPA, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2025) — Reliable Energy Partners has announced the appointment of two new members of the company's leadership team: Amy Reese as director of Human Resources and Paula Laney as vice president of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). 

Reese joins the company with over 20 years of experience in human resources, having held impactful roles at several leading organizations including IDEX, AmeriGas and Hunting Energy Services, among others. Throughout her career, Reese has led transformative initiatives in policy development and performance management through analytics. Her expertise has consistently helped companies unlock the full potential of their greatest resource — their people. Reese’s leadership has shaped dynamic teams and fostered environments where employees can thrive and grow.

As director of Human Resources, Reese will oversee all aspects of HR strategy, talent management and organizational development at Reliable Energy Partners.  

Additionally, Paula Laney joins the company as vice president of HSE. 

With more than 25 years of experience in the propane and fuel distribution industry, Laney is set to lead the company’s safety initiatives and drive a culture of operational excellence. Laney's career began in her family’s business, where she developed an in-depth understanding of operations and a strong commitment to safety from an early age. Her hands-on experience laid the foundation for a distinguished career dedicated to advancing safety standards within the industry. 

Beyond her family business, Laney has served as the director of Safety, Training and Education for the Oklahoma LP Gas Commission, where she played a pivotal role in shaping statewide safety protocols. For the past six years, Laney has been a key member of the safety team at EDP, holding several leadership positions, including director of Safety & Training, and making significant contributions to the company’s safety performance. 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Laney is actively involved in industry organizations. She currently serves as the chairperson for the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) Safety & Technical Training Advisory Committee, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to elevating safety standards across the industry.
