To help pair employers with job seekers in the Mid-States region, a new job-listing website is now available called Propane Connect. This new site is free to use for graduating students and experienced workers seeking employment within the propane industry.

“If you or somebody you know is seeking employment or looking for their next career opportunity, let them know about propaneconnect.org,” said Steve Ahrens, president of the Missouri Propane Education & Research Council (MOPERC). “We are seeing substantial demand for a variety of propane opportunities across Missouri and in surrounding states.”

Propane industry careers include transport drivers, delivery drivers, service technicians, and customer service representatives, among others. Interested candidates can upload their resume to the propaneconnect.org site and see available jobs within their respective part of Missouri and in surrounding states. Applicants can become part of a team in the propane industry with many opportunities to grow professionally. Propane industry jobs include paid training, advancement potential, and competitive wages.

The Propane Connect initiative was created to help generate a strong workforce within the Mid-States region. The propane gas associations of Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Missouri, and Oklahoma recently launched the website to help connect propane companies in the region with qualified job applicants.

Propane companies serving the Mid-States area can quickly upload their employer information and browse through and view qualified candidates to find employees who will be a good fit within their organizations. The Propane Connect website can be used by propane companies and interested career applicants at no cost. Visit the Propane Connect website to learn more at propaneconnect.org.
