Every Day Safe Program

Richmond, Va. (Jan. 13, 2026) — The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has launched the Every Day Safe Program, a comprehensive new initiative designed to help propane companies strengthen their safety culture from the inside out. The program provides propane marketers with a simple framework to evaluate their current safety practices and develop a customized action plan.

Recognizing that safety is the foundation of the propane industry, the Every Day Safe Program moves beyond simple compliance to foster a mindset where safety is part of a company’s identity. The program offers practical, easy-to-use tools to ensure teams remain focused, engaged, and supported in their daily safety routines.

“A true culture of safety exists when safety is viewed as a core identity rather than an obligation, driven by our own high standards and customer expectations,” said Eric Kuster, PERC senior vice president of safety, education, and compliance. “When safety becomes second nature, we prevent more than incidents, we protect the reputation and reliability of propane itself.”

Once enrolled, companies gain access to a full library of hands-on learning tools, including live webinars with experts, on-demand eLearning courses, and daily practice tools. These resources are built by and for the propane industry to reinforce the habits that keep people safe every day.

Participating companies can also earn additional recognition by completing community-focused safety actions, such as hosting emergency response training with first responders or recognizing employees for safe behavior.

Propane industry members are encouraged to strengthen their company’s safety legacy today. To enroll in the program and access the Every Day Safe program hub, visit propane.com/EveryDaySafe/.
