Liberty, Mo. — May 13, 2024 — Ferrellgas has announced that Michelle Bimson Maggi has joined its leadership team as vice president of Corporate Affairs. Bimson Maggi will oversee several departments in her new role, including Safety and other matrix divisions.
“I’m excited for this new opportunity at Ferrellgas," said Bimson Maggi. "This company has a strong history within the propane industry, and I look forward to being a part of Ferrellgas’ future."
Bimson Maggi has decades of experience within the propane industry. She is an advocate for industry organizations and was the first female Chairperson of the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA). She was also a member of the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) environmental working group that developed the “Energy for Everyone” campaign and tagline.
“I love advocating for the propane industry and its employees,” she said.
Ferrellgas President and CEO Tamria Zertuche said she is looking forward to having Bimson Maggi as part of the Ferrellgas team.
“Michelle’s diverse background and industry experience makes her an exciting addition to our company,” said Zertuche. “I am looking forward to all that she will accomplish.”
