A man bends down in the snow, preparing an indiscriminate piece of equipment.WASHINGTON (August 21, 2023) – The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is providing propane marketers with important information on how to plan ahead for the winter. On Thursday, August 24, beginning at 2 p.m. ET, PERC will host a new webinar, “Winter Preparedness,” as part of its “Propane Presents Technology Series.” Attendees will learn about the resources PERC has assembled to make preparing customers for the winter easier than ever.

During the live webinar, Eric Kuster, PERC’s senior vice president of safety, education and compliance, and Lyndon Rickards, PERC’s director of safety and compliance will be joined by Aaron Huizenga of Lakes Gas in Minnesota. Together, they’ll discuss best practices for employee and customer safety, how to communicate with customers to help them plan ahead for the winter heating season and guidance on resources to help suppliers prepare equipment and employees to be effective all winter long.

“While winter may seem far off, it’s important to start having these conversations today to ensure employee and customer safety during the winter heating season,” said Kuster. “The resources we share during the webinar will also help you prepare both your employees and customers for winter’s challenges.”

PERC’s “Propane Presents Technology Series” focuses on new and emerging propane technologies, education and best practices to approach the ideal customer. Hosted and facilitated by PERC, in partnership with various OEMs, the series aims to showcase various propane products across multiple markets, answer questions directly from the industry and end-users, and provide relevant resources and training information.
