Alliance AutoGas recently announced a substantial upswing in 2015 sales of its autogas engineered fuel equipment system segments and low-emissions nozzle adoption. This increase in autogas adoption among vehicle fleets provides a significant contribution to the number of propane gallons consumed. 
Stuart Weidie, president of Alliance AutoGas, an international network providing a comprehensive propane autogas solution for fleets, reports in 2015 alone, the 120 Alliance AutoGas members collectively displaced 45 million gallons of gasoline and produced $54 million in fuel cost savings for the 460 fleets they service.
According to Ed Hoffman, president of Blossman Services Inc., “The Alliance engineered equipment segment experienced a 44% increase in overall sales in 2015. This growth is fueled by many variables including vehicle platform focus and our world-class Plug & Play engine conversion system design.”
Equipment sales represent the Alliance commitment to the best-selling commercial vehicles in America — models such as the new Ford Transit, Ford F Series, Isuzu NPR, Dodge Caravan, and Dodge Charger.

“Our sales growth can also be linked back to product design,” notes Ed Hoffman. "Alliance’s simplified wiring and autogas injection technologies put Alliance in the forefront of conversion installations. Everything is bracketed and designed to be installed without any cutting, drilling or fabrication. The system does not require any permanent vehicle modifications. Unlike previous generation conversion “kits” that would require upwards of 15 hours to install and a lot of field engineering, our newer systems are being installed in well under six hours and report a lower warranty incident rate."

Safe connect, low emission nozzles, adaptors and accessories continue to connect and resonate with fleets throughout North America, another reason for the 2015 upswing. Announced this past December by Alliance AutoGas, the Ultra- Low Propane Autogas Nozzle includes adaptors, connectors, caps and K15 valves. Full distribution across North America was started in February with huge acceptance and approval by fleets currently using propane autogas, as well as the propane industry.
The Alliance AutoGas network members also began installing the new connector and using the new low emissions nozzle for all new autogas installations in 2015. Such installations have been completed by propane autogas dispenser manufacturer Superior Energy; Bergquist Inc., Rutherford Equipment and Blossman Services. According to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center, there are 2,700 propane autogas fueling stations in the U.S. alone, in addition to the Alliance’s 460 fleet locations.
“We are working at a high level in 2016 and are committed to improvement at every step of our evolving product development,” adds Weidie.
