Blue Rhino, celebrating its 30th anniversary, invites grilling enthusiasts to enter a nationwide sweepstakes for the chance to become an honorary chief grilling officer, with prizes from partners like Operation BBQ Relief. Established in 1994, Blue Rhino now boasts 65,000 selling locations nationwide and is expanding through partnerships with major retailers like Walmart.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Nov. 11, 2022) Blue Rhino announced another expansion of its home delivery service, this time to the Fort Myers, Florida, area. In addition to purchasing or exchanging for a ready-to-grill tank at any of the dozens of convenient stores that offer Blue Rhino propane, Fort Myers residents can now have a fresh, cleaned and leak-tested Blue Rhino tank or two delivered directly to their front door.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 15, 2022)Blue Rhino announced the expansion of its home delivery service to the Phoenix, Arizona, area. In addition to purchasing or exchanging for a ready-to-grill tank at any of the dozens of convenient local exchange locations, Phoenix-area residents can avoid an extra trip to the store by choosing to have a fresh, cleaned and leak-tested Blue Rhino tank or two dropped off at their front doorstep.

Ferrellgas announced it has promoted Brian Freeth to the position of west region manager. As a result of the promotion, the 20-year veteran of the propane company will oversee Ferrellgas’ operations in 11 western states. The former Indiana Propane Gas Association board member most recently served the company as general manager, overseeing retail locations in the states of Illinois and Indiana.
 

Blue Rhino has added home propane delivery service in five new cities. The propane tank exchange brand, which is part of Ferrellgas L.P., is now delivering to homes in Denver; Oklahoma City; Richmond, Virginia; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This expansion follows the brand’s successful home delivery pilot program in Atlanta and Tampa, Florida.

Swanson Russell received 15 awards at the 2021 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nebraska Paper Anvil Awards Gala held virtually on January 28. Three of the awards honored the firm’s work with the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC).
