Synergy Commodity has hired Jordan Manchester as commodity analyst. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Sacred Heart University. Prior to joining Synergy, Manchester worked at Sprague Operating Resources as a refined commodities analyst.
He has also worked as an analyst for Star Group and a staff accountant at Tech Air. Before entering the energy industry, he he had worked as a construction project manager for WWW MC Construction.
“We are thrilled to have Jordan join the Synergy team,” said Taylor Hudson and Aviral Chopra, Synergy principals. “His background experience in our industry and alignment with our focus on improving client business performance will improve our offering and continue our growth.”
Manchester, a native of Bristol, Connecticut, plays rugby, most recently with the Fairfield Yankees, in Fairfield, Connecticut. He has also competed in moguls and other freestyle ski events.
“I’m excited about helping resellers procure commodities more efficiently,” Manchester said. “We’re giving them the institutional knowledge and skills they need to capitalize on market opportunities and stop leaving money on the table.”
Commodity market veterans Chopra and Hudson launched Synergy Commodity in 2021 to provide procurement data and support to resellers and bulk users of propane and distillates. Leveraging their deep institutional knowledge in supply, trading and marketing, Chopra and Hudson provide custom procurement services that meet each client’s particular needs.
