People CampRandy Camp, manager of CoEnergy Propane (Albany, Ore.), has been appointed to the Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) Board of Education. Camp has been a member of the LBCC Foundation Board, and was involved in helping LBCC’s Advanced Transportation Technology Center to obtain the equipment and funds to move forward. He is also an active member of the propane industry, and is incoming president of the Pacific Propane Gas Association.

Independent Technologies Inc. (Blair, Neb.) has appointed Boyd H. McGathey as its vice president of business development for Wesroc Remote Monitoring Systems. McGathey most recently served as executive vice president and COO at Ferrellgas, with responsibility for all retail propane operations. He also headed Blue Rhino distribution and Ferrell North America, its all-encompassing propane business unit. Prior, McGathey was partner and COO for Liberty Propane, and West Division president at Inergy Propane after its acquisition of Liberty Propane in 2011.

With its recent expansion in the Northeast and East Coast regions, Signature Truck Systems (Clio, Mich.) has hired Brian Reynolds as sales manager, Eastern region, where he will be responsible for business development. Reynolds is an industry veteran with more than 15 years of experience serving the energy marketplace.

The Propane Truck Builders Association has elected its officers for the 2016-2017 term. Dennis Klattenberg, Boyd Service Inc. (Ashland, Ky.), will serve as president; Patrick Butler, Western Cascade Truck Tank & Equipment (Tukwila, Wash.), vice president; and Mike Hennen, Westmor Industries (Morris, Minn.), treasurer.

Curtis Reynolds has been named service department manager for White Mountain Oil & Propane (Conway, N.H.), with responsibility for overseeing the service crew and the delivery of mechanical service and installations to the company’s customers. He has been with the company for 16 years, working with both the sales and service departments. In addition, Reynolds has developed and presented state and nationally accredited training for company employees.

Maynard R. Towle, 87, passed away May 2. He retired from Suburban Propane, previously Farmington Oil, after a long career of delivering bottled gas and servicing propane equipment in central Maine.
