RICHMOND, Va. (September 11, 2025) — National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 14–20) recognizes the drivers who keep America moving.
In the propane industry, bobtail and transport drivers are the essential link in delivering 8.81 billion gallons of propane to millions of customers with professionalism, care and an unwavering commitment to safety.
“Drivers represent the heart of the propane industry,” said Bridget Kidd, Chief Operating Officer at the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). “Their daily commitment to service, delivery, and safety ensures that families and businesses can rely on propane to provide energy security to their communities. We’re thrilled to celebrate their contributions and share their stories.”
To recognize these professionals, PERC invited propane companies across the country to nominate their drivers and share stories of their dedication. Nominated drivers will be featured across PERC communication channels, offering well-deserved recognition to both the drivers and the companies they represent.
Every nominee will also be entered into a special drawing, giving companies an opportunity to celebrate their team’s commitment and recognize individuals who embody our industry values. PERC is releasing a toolkit through their Resource Catalog, featuring social media templates and graphics so anyone can easily participate in recognizing their employees for exemplary delivery and service.
