Palmer Gas & Oil (PGO; Atkinson, N.H.), a provider of fuel delivery and service programs, has been named Business of the Decade by Business NH Magazine. The company was recognized for its achievements in the Retail/Wholesale category.
Business NH Magazine invited the winners of its Business of the Year and Business Leader of the Year awards between 2011 and 2019 to apply for the Business of the Decade competition. Nearly 50 judges participated in scoring the applications through two rounds of judging to determine the winners.
PGO is described as the friendly, simple, and safe company that provides fuel, service, and equipment sales and installation throughout New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. It works hard to put a smile on its customers’ faces every time with great customer service, generous loyalty programs, and happy employees.
“This is an unbelievable honor for the whole company. We wouldn’t be here without a great group of employees and loyal customers,” said Bill Ermer, president of PGO. “Ours is a workforce and a customer base of multi-generational families who have been with us a long time. The employees take care of each other, and they take care of our customers. Our customers appreciate our great friendly, simple and safe service, as well as the personal touch that we provide.”
