NEOgás, a global provider of natural gas logistics services to industrial and vehicle energy consumers without access to natural gas pipelines, has appointed R. Paul Grady as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2015. NEOgás has operations in Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Columbia and the United States.
Grady retired earlier this year from AmeriGas, a propane marketer in the US, where he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since March 2012. Grady first started working for AmeriGas, and its parent company UGI, in 1990. After a two-year stint in early 2000s as president of a family beverage bottling business which he successfully sold, he returned to the fuels distribution industry with senior executive positions at Titan Propane and Heritage Propane. Grady was president of Heritage when AmeriGas acquired the business, subsequently taking a leadership role as COO in the integration of the two companies. Previously, Grady served as Director of Corporate Development of UGI Corporation (1990 to 1995).
Earlier in his career, Grady held positions in corporate development and consumer product marketing at Campbell Soup Company (1984-1990). He also worked in sales and business development at Juice Bowl Products, Inc. (1978-1984).
Grady holds a BA degree in Marketing from Stetson University and a Juris doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law.
