During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, increased. The posted prices increased 4.333 cents/gal, from June mid-month to July mid-month, and the spot prices increased 2.875 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 3.5 cents/gal, and spots increased 3.375 cents over the month.
Mont Belvieu Postings
The Mont Belvieu mid-June posted price was 86.397 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 1.25 cents to 87.647 cents, followed by a 3-cent increase to 90.647 cents the next week. Prices then increased 3.5 cents to 94.147 cents the first week of July. At mid-month, postings decreased 3.417 cents to 90.73 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2023, the July 2024 prices were 18.433 cents higher.
Conway Postings
The Conway mid-June posted price was 79.676 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 0.052 cents to 79.728 cents, followed by a 2.2-cent increase to 81.928 cents the next week. Prices then increased 4.398 cents to 86.326 cents the first week of July. At mid-month, postings decreased 3.15 cents to 83.176 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2023, the July 2024 prices were 16.928 cents higher.
Mont Belvieu Spots
Mont Belvieu spots opened mid-June at 78 cents/gal. The next week the price rose by 0.375 cents to 78.375 cents, followed by a 4.375-cent increase to 82.75 cents the next week. Prices then increased 1.5 cents to 84.25 cents the first week of July. At mid-month, they fell 3.375 cents to 80.875 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2023, the July 2024 prices were 19.375 cents higher.
Conway Spots
Conway spots opened mid-June at 74.5 cents/gal. The next week the price rose by 0.75 cents to 75.25 cents, followed by a 4.25-cent increase to 79.5 cents the next week. Prices then increased 0.25 cents to 79.75 cents the first week of July. At mid-month, they fell 1.875 cents to 77.875 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in July 2023, the July 2024 prices were 18.125 cents higher.
