Fountain Hills, AZ (June 16, 2025) — Legacy Energy Consulting, a merger and acquisitions consulting firm, announced the propane company acquisition of Gatorgas LP, Inc., located in Old Town, Florida to Palmdale Propane, a subsidiary of Palmdale Oil Company.

Gatorgas was established in 1985 by Frank Anderson and a silent partner, Bob Gratton, beginning with a small cylinder exchange and a single fill station. Over the subsequent 40 years, Gatorgas evolved into a business that garnered both partners' pride, continuously expanding and serving the local community and beyond. Frank managed Gatorgas until his passing in June 2023. Following this, ownership of the company transferred to his daughter, Jennifer Anderson, and his wife, Debbie Anderson, with Jennifer assuming responsibility for daily operations.

Jennifer Anderson of Gatorgas LP commented, “When it was time to sell our family propane company after 40 years Chad and Tyler at Legacy Energy Consulting took me under their wing and treated me like family. To attempt to sell a propane company without a team like Chad and Tyler to guide me through it all would have been my biggest mistake. They have all the needed resources, guidance, expertise and professionalism plus they are always looking out for the greater good of their client.”

Chad Pendill, founder and President of Legacy Energy Consulting, stated, "It was an honor to get to know and work with Jennifer during the challenging period following her father's unexpected passing, and I am confident that we found the right buyer to carry on what the Anderson family has built."

Legacy Energy Consulting delivered comprehensive merger and acquisition services to Gatorgas LP. These services encompassed the initial valuation, discreetly marketing the business to potential buyers through an efficient and structured sale process, negotiating the final deal structure, and managing the due diligence process between the seller and the eventual buyer. Chad Pendill and Tyler Pendill managed the transaction. Legacy Energy Consulting announced its first transaction of 2025. This propane company acquisition marks its eighth transaction in Florida since 2020. This accomplishment brings the total number of transactions to 22 since the company's inception in 2020.
