Charlie Brown has joined Rutherford Equipment Inc. (Covington, Ga.) as an outside sales representative, serving customers in eastern and central North Carolina as well as portions of South Carolina. Brown has 40 years of experience in the propane industry, and has held a number of positions including plant manager, division manager, division sales manager, and account manager.
During its annual meeting, the Minnesota Propane Association installed its officers for the 2016 term. Mike Hennen of Westmor Industries (Morris) will serve as president; Mark Grave, Federated Co-ops Inc. (Kettle River), first vice president; Jim Jung, Crystal Valley Co-op (Lake Crystal), second vice president; Howard Reinhard, CentraSota — Lake Region Co-op (Buffalo), treasurer; and Carl Wenner, Wenner Gas (Cold Spring), secretary. Dave Wager of Central Valley Co-op (West Concord) is immediate past president. Board of directors with terms ending in 2017 are Brad Guggisburg, Wayne Transport (Rosemount); Jeff Munzel, LPG & NH3 Supply (Buffalo); Evan Zins, River Region Co-op (Essig); and Todd Kruegel, Kruegels Inc. (Spring Valley). Directors with terms ending in 2018 are John Edwards, LP Gas Equipment (St. Paul); Milt Swenson, Westmor Industries (Morris); Tim Wahl, Enterprise Products; and Kyle Wolf, CHS Inc. (Inver Grove Heights). Thomas Built Buses (High Point, N.C.) has hired John Rosselli as its manager of alternative fuels. He will handle sales, education, and training for the company’s green vehicle lineup, including the Saf-T-Liner C2 propane and Minotour propane. Prior to joining Thomas Built, Rosselli had been involved with alternative fuels, serving in dealer development roles and as a director of alternative fuels for three years.
John Laws has been named executive vice president, CFO, and treasurer of Enable Midstream Partners (Oklahoma City). He succeeds former CFO Rod Sailor, who has assumed the role of president and CEO. Laws has been with Enable for six years, most recently in the position of treasurer.
The Railroad Commission of Texas’ chairman and commissioners have voted to appoint Kimberly Corley as executive director of Railroad Commission. She brings to the Commission more than 30 years of technical, policy, and strategic expertise in oil and gas and pipeline operations. Corley retired from Shell Oil Co., where she held several executive leadership positions, most recently as business development manager for gas monetization and general manager of construction risk mitigation and workforce development for Shell Upstream Americas. Prior to joining Shell, she held various executive and leadership positions with oil and gas and pipeline companies, including Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, El Paso Corp., and Tenneco Energy.

Jack Bennett of Bennett’s Gas in Taylorsville, Ky. passed away Jan. 24, 2016.
Maurice Ross, 81, passed away Dec. 11, 2015. Mr. Ross had worked for Suburban Propane for more than 39 years, serving customers in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts, becoming a specialist in many aspects of the propane industry. He retired from Suburban to establish M.K.R. Propane Services.
These two propane professionals will be missed.
