Alliance AutoGas, a provider of comprehensive propane autogas solutions to medium- and heavy-duty fleets, said April 28 that Huntertown, Ind.-based H&H Sales Co. Inc. and Ashby’s Inc./Crenshaw Corp. of Richmond, Va. have joined the alliance as authorized conversion centers. “As high volume conversion centers, H&H Sales Co. and Ashby’s/Crenshaw Corp. will help enable Alliance AutoGas to achieve scalability in the marketplace, converting thousands of vehicles a month,” said Stuart Weidie, president of Alliance AutoGas.
H&H Sales currently upfits commercial vehicle platforms, among them the Ford Transit, Ford F-250 through F-750 vehicles, the Isuzu NPR, and others from General Motors and Isuzu. “We have been in the vehicle modifier business and propane and commercial vehicle industry for many years,” said John L. Hawkins, CEO of H&H Sales. “As members of NPGA and NTEA, we are particularly proud of our Ford QVM status. H&H Sales looks forward to the national and North American relationships provided by Alliance AutoGas. Our hope is to increase our presence in the emerging autogas industry and to move forward and expand our business plan.”

Adding to the conventional autogas conversion options offered by authorized Alliance AutoGas conversion centers is the plug-and-play, OEM-quality diesel displacement system. The bi-fuel system allows conversion centers throughout North America to increase their fleet conversion options. In addition, all new conversions completed within the network now come with an ultra-low emissions refueling nozzle.
