Valley Forge, Pa. (Dec. 12. 2023) — UGI Corporation announced that Mario Longhi, incoming chair of the board of directors, has been named interim chief executive officer. Roger Perreault has stepped down as president and chief executive officer and as a member of the board, effective immediately.

Ciccarello joined Gray, Gray & Gray in 1986 and was elected a partner in 1992. He served as the firm’s managing partner (now leading partner) from 2008-2017. Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions has been recognized by the California Public Utilities Commission as a California manufacturer of energy storage systems (ESS). The company is one of only five manufacturers to receive this designation in the state. Dallas (Nov. 16, 2023) — Energy Transfer LP has entered into a non-binding Heads of Agreement (HOA) with TotalEnergies related to term crude oil offtake from its proposed Blue Marlin Offshore Port for 4 million barrels per month. The HOA is subject to the negotiation and execution of definitive agreements and the satisfaction of other conditions, including Energy Transfer taking a final investment decision.

The Baker Hughes United States rig count is up three from last week to 625 with oil rigs up five to 505, gas rigs down one to 116 and miscellaneous rigs down one to four.

The U.S. rig count is down 159 rigs from last year's count of 784 with oil rigs down 122, gas rigs down 39 and miscellaneous up two.

The U.S. offshore rig count is unchanged at 21, up three year-over-year.

The Canada rig count is down five from last week to 192, with oil rigs down two to 122, and gas rigs down three to 70.

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, decreased as we head into winter. The posted prices decreased 6.834 cents/gal, from October mid-month to November mid-month, and the spot prices decreased 7.25 cents. Conway, Kan., postings decreased 8.833 cents/gal, and spots decreased 7.625 cents over the month.
