Building on the momentum of the Propane Education & Research Council’s (PERC) new consumer education campaign in 2016, PERC has approved its 2017 campaign for $8,240,000, at the Nov. 2, 2016 Council meeting, in Naples, Florida. The Campaign will be designed to maintain gains in familiarity and favorability of propane, improve consumer perceptions of the fuel, and make consumers more receptive to propane sales messages. PERC noted that "conversation volume" is up by 29% and positive sentiment is up by 387% year-over-year.
The campaign will continue using paid media, earned media, and owned media to promote the propane brand and will continue offering materials that marketers can use to boost their own outreach programs while extending penetration of the national campaign into local markets.
