Minocqua, Wis. (June 5, 2025) — Lakes Gas, a propane supplier in the Upper Midwest, announced the grand opening of its newest location in Minocqua, Wisconsin. A ribbon cutting with the local Chamber of Commerce was held on May 16 to mark the official opening of the facility, which will serve residential, commercial and agricultural customers in Minocqua and the surrounding communities. This office is the 57th staffed Lakes Gas location.

(March 10, 2022) – Cetane Associates LLC is pleased to announce that Lakes Gas Co., a Minnesota corporation headquartered in Wyoming, Minnesota has acquired the propane and refined fuels delivery business of Foss-Johnson Oil LLC based in Walcott, N.D. The transaction closed on March 1, 2022.
