(March 23, 2018) — RegO (Elon, N.C.) has made a change in its global sales leadership with the retirement announcement of Brian Davidson, senior vice president of sales, after 35 years with the company. RegO has appointed Bob Paul to succeed Davidson as the company's new vice president of sales. Paul is an industry veteran with 30 years of sales experience in flow control products. He was previously with Circor Energy (Houston), where he served as global director for sales for the company’s distributed valve division. In his new position, he will coordinate both domestic and global sales efforts in support of RegO’s growth initiatives.

Throughout his career, Davidson has held numerous sales, marketing, general management, and executive roles, contributing to RegO’s ongoing sales growth. To assist in the leadership transition, he will continue in a part-time consulting capacity through 2018. In addition, Davidson will continue to remain active on the NPGA board of directors and will attend major industry events on behalf of RegO.

The Missouri Propane Education and Research Council (MOPERC) recently installed its directors and officers, who were approved at the group’s fall meeting. Roger Hoff of Hoff Brothers LP-Gas (Perryville) will serve as chair; Luke Fitzpatrick, MFA Oil (Jefferson City), vice chair; and Nick Goodrich, Goodrich Gas (Crocker), treasurer.

Five incoming directors were appointed or reappointed to three-year terms. Those reappointed were Luke Fitzpatrick of MFA Oil (Jefferson City); Marty Lerum, Propane Resources (Mission, Kan.); and David Young, Gas Equipment Co. (Highland, Ill.). Kevin Pearson, Ferrellgas (Nixa), and Wayne Terpstra, Custom Tank and Equipment (Kansas City), are the newly-appointed directors.

Outgoing directors recognized for their service to MOPERC include chairman Eric Kolkmeyer, Energy Transportation Systems (Bates City), and Randy Warner, Ferrellgas (Liberty). Rounding out the council roster for 2018 are: John Brokes, Big River Propane (Hannibal); John Fling, Ferrellgas-GASCO (Eldon); James Greer, MFA Oil (Columba); Charlie Neidert, Al’s Gas (Neosho); Derek Poe, Titan Propane (Branson); Mark Porth, CHS (Lawson); Jeff Reitz, Central States Bus (Fenton); and Aubrey Salley, Salley’s Propane (Bates City). Steve Ahrens serves as MOPERC president.
