Tabajara Bertelli Costa poses.The World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA) has announced the appointment of a new president, vice president and first vice president. 

WLGA has appointed Tabajara Bertelli Costa, CEO of Ultragaz, Brazil, to as WLGA president. WLGA has also appointed Fabian Ziegler, CEO of DCC Energy, Ireland, to the position of first vice president and Melih Poyraz, CEO of Aygaz, Turkey, to the position of vice president. These appointments will run until the general assembly in Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for autumn 2025. 

WLGA also showed appreciation for its president Bram Gräber from SHV Energy for his role in supporting and leading the association as a board member since 2018, as vice president since 2019, as first vice president since 2021 and as president since 2023. 

"I am delighted to be taking on the role of WLGA president and looking forward to [working] with James Rockall and his team in order to achieve the goals of the WLGA strategic plan," said Costa. "I would like to thank Mr. Gräber for his work as president and for his significant contributions during his term. The WLGA is an important global association, covering over 125 countries, with remarkable leadership in the global energy sector, and has been working to make clean energy accessible for everyone.
