U.S. Rig Count Up 2

The Baker Hughes United States Rig Count is up two from last week to 440, with oil rigs down one to 342, gas rigs up two to 96, and miscellaneous rigs up one to two.

• The U.S. rig count is up 32 rigs from last year's count of 408, with oil rigs up 17, gas rigs up 15 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at two.
• The U.S. offshore rig count is up two to 13, and down three year over year.
• The Canada rig count is down four from last week to 51, with oil rigs up three to 20, gas rigs down seven to 31.
• The Canada rig count is up 24 rigs from last year's count of 27, with oil rigs up 13, gas rigs up 11.
