Quality Steel Corporation (QSC), a U.S.-based manufacturer of ASME propane tanks for both residential and commercial use, announced the retirement of Clark Love as the Great Lakes area regional sales manager, in addition to the promotion of Rick Contreras to Love’s previous role and Matt Miller’s promotion to customer service manager.

“The new year brings refreshing changes, and Quality Steel Corporation welcomes new members and new opportunities. The QSC family congratulates Clark on taking the leap into retirement! After 23 years of hard work, Clark is calling it a winning game. We appreciate Clark’s leadership, wit and team spirit. Clark will be missed, and [we] wish him well on his retirement,” said the company in a statement.

Contreras will step in as Great Lakes area regional sales manager, covering parts of the upper Midwest (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee). Over his seven-year career at QSC, Contreras previously transitioned from inside sales representative to customer service manager, with the regional sales manager being his most recent move.

“Rick understands our customers’ needs and looks forward to serving his customers in this new role,” the company's statement continued.

Miller, meanwhile, has been promoted to customer service manager. Miller has worked with QSC for 13 years as the inventory manager in the Fremont, Ohio, facility. He was responsible for developing relationships with vendors and suppliers and maintaining inventory levels. QSC expects Miller to be a welcome addition to the sales team.

“Quality Steel is fortunate to have talented in-house personnel to enable us to fill these positions. We look forward to continuing to work with our customers and to helping with their propane tank needs!” QSC's statement concluded.
