(January 31, 2017) — The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has announced the appointment of Paula Wilson as its new Director of Industry Engagement. For nearly 25 years, Ms. Wilson served as director of marketing at AmeriGas Propane (Valley Forge, Penn.), one of the largest propane companies in the United States. Wilson lead marketing strategy and consumer engagement for AmeriGas for its business-to-consumer and business-to-business sectors. Wilson served as PERC chairman from 2013 to 2015, and received the National Propane Gas Association's (NPGA) Chairman's Citation Award in 2015 for her dedication and leadership in the propane industry.
Wilson previously served on the board of the NPGA, the PERC council, and as a volunteer on the PERC advisory committee for 13 years.
Prior to joining PERC in this new position, Wilson was founding principal of P3 Marketing Works, a marketing consulting firm that served the energy, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors.
